Meet the Owner

Dr. Andrew Tubis is the owner and founder of ACE Physio and Wellness LLC.  Dr. Tubis has been treating patients for over a decade in the Low Country. He now brings his expertise right to your home or office. He received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Ithaca College in New York in 2010. Dr. Tubis has a passion for helping older adults get back to their active lifestyles - especially back to golf, tennis and pickleball. Dr. Tubis offers wellness and injury prevention sessions to not only keep older adults active but more efficient in their movements on the tennis court and golf course.

Recognizing that many individuals face challenges in receiving consistent physical therapy, Dr. Tubis decided to bring his skills, knowledge and high level therapy to their doorstep. Ace Physio & Wellness was born after being frustrated treating in a setting where 2-3 patients were seen per hour and passed to techs/aides with minimal or no physiology and exercise knowledge or experience. A model based on quantity and not quality of care for the individual struggling with a problem. That is why all sessions are 1:1 with a Doctor of Physical Therapy who can constantly reassess and evaluate, then treat your condition so you progress towards your goals.

Dr. Tubis has had the fortune of learning from many great health professionals throughout his career. He blends together techniques and principles from Doctor of Osteopathy, Physical Therapy, Strength and Conditioning, Chiropractic, Acupuncture and delivers treatment based on what his clients need. Dr. Tubis has completed countless courses of continuing education in the treatment and evaluation of the spine, extremities, TMJ/TMD disorders, Dry Needling, balance/vestibular disfunction, kinesio taping, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Massage, and manual therapies.

In his free time, Dr. Tubis enjoys spending time with his wife, Sarah and daughter, Emmy at the beach, gardening, golfing, hiking and eating around Charleston. He is always looking for his next podcast or audiobook.
